What to Look for in a Multidisciplinary Clinic
A great clinic coordinates every part of your care under one roof. Here is what sets the best apart.
Read articleNaturopathic medicine at AuraWell looks for why symptoms are happening and how your body's systems connect. Dr. Parya Bahrampour, ND sees patients in person in Woodbridge and virtually for women's health, hormones, fertility, digestion, skin and metabolic wellness. Start with a free 15-minute consultation.

For our rehabilitation services, direct insurance billing may be available depending on your provider and plan. If direct billing is unavailable, we will provide the appropriate receipt to submit to your insurer.
Some symptoms never quite fit into a short appointment. Bloating that comes and goes, cycles that changed without warning, skin that flares when life gets busy, energy that drains by mid-afternoon. Naturopathic medicine at AuraWell starts with a simple question: why is this happening, and how are your body's systems connected? The answer becomes a plan that helps you leave each visit with steadier energy and a clearer sense of what comes next.
Naturopathic care is led by Dr. Parya Bahrampour, ND, a naturopathic doctor in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She takes the time to understand your health history, your concerns and your goals before recommending anything, and she believes treatment should be thorough and also realistic enough to fit into everyday life.
Because AuraWell is a Nurse Practitioner-led multidisciplinary clinic, your naturopathic care does not sit on an island. With your consent, Dr. Bahrampour, ND can coordinate with our Nurse Practitioners, physiotherapists and acupuncture team, so natural and medical care work from one plan instead of two.
Women's health is at the centre of her practice. Many patients arrive after years of being told their symptoms are normal, and leave with a plan that finally connects the dots between cycles, mood, sleep, weight and energy.
Support is available for PCOS (now also called PMOS), endometriosis, PMS, and irregular or painful periods. Care begins with a detailed history and, where helpful, hormone and metabolic testing, then moves to nutrition, lifestyle medicine, botanical medicine and targeted supplementation chosen for your situation.
For individuals preparing for pregnancy, trying to conceive or currently going through fertility treatment, the Individual Fertility Optimization visit is a 75-minute fertility-focused consultation with an individualized assessment and treatment plan to support reproductive and overall health.
Couples can book a 120-minute Fertility Optimization Couples Session, where both partners receive an individualized assessment and plan. Please call the clinic directly to book a couples session.
Hot flashes, broken sleep, mood changes and shifting cycles deserve real attention. Naturopathic care can support you through perimenopause and menopause with nutrition, lifestyle and botanical strategies. If you are also considering hormone therapy, our Nurse Practitioners offer virtual menopause and HRT care, and both can be part of one coordinated plan.
Digestive health is another major area of her practice. Dr. Bahrampour, ND sees patients with persistent bloating, IBS, constipation, diarrhea, changes in bowel movements, GERD and reflux, as well as people living with IBD who want naturopathic support alongside the care they receive from their medical team.
Your visit looks at what you eat, how you eat, stress, sleep, medications and past gut history. Where it would change the plan, testing such as GI-MAP stool analysis or food sensitivity testing may be suggested, and the results are explained in plain language before any treatment decision.
Skin often reflects what is happening inside, from hormones to digestion to stress. Dr. Bahrampour, ND supports patients with acne, eczema and other skin concerns by looking at those connections rather than the surface alone.
For patients who want a natural, non-surgical approach to skin health and healthy aging, facial rejuvenation acupuncture uses fine, sterile needles to support skin health and circulation. Patients often book it for concerns such as fine lines, uneven skin tone, acne, scarring, dark circles and skin laxity. The first visit is 120 minutes and includes a full intake and your first facial rejuvenation treatment.
Constitutional acupuncture follow-ups continue the treatment plan set at your intake, in 30-minute or extended 45-minute visits. An initial intake is needed before booking an acupuncture follow-up. AuraWell also offers acupuncture through our wider rehabilitation team for pain and musculoskeletal concerns.
Insulin resistance, blood sugar swings, weight that will not shift, fatigue, stress and low energy are some of the most common reasons people book. These concerns usually have more than one cause, so your plan looks at blood sugar balance, sleep, nutrition, movement and stress together.
When fatigue might have a medical cause such as low iron, thyroid changes or low vitamin B12, the clinic can arrange blood work and, with your consent, involve our Nurse Practitioners, so nothing important is missed.
Testing is never a starting requirement, and it is only suggested when the result would change what you do next. When further investigation is appropriate, Dr. Bahrampour, ND may use full blood panels, GI-MAP stool testing, DUTCH hormone testing, food sensitivity testing, and metabolic and hormonal assessments to guide individualized care. Your results are reviewed with you at a follow-up visit, together with your progress and how your body has responded so far.
Every plan is built around your needs and goals. Depending on your situation, it may combine clinical nutrition, targeted supplementation, botanical medicine, lifestyle medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. Supplements are recommended only when there is a clear reason, and Dr. Bahrampour, ND reviews your medications and current supplements first to avoid interactions.
For existing patients, short injection visits of about 15 minutes are available when they suit your plan: vitamin B12 with folic acid, B-complex with B12 and folic acid, B12 and folic acid with vitamin D, vitamin D on its own with the dose chosen for your needs, and a weight-loss injection (MIC injection), a lipotropic/fat-burning injection offered as part of a weight-management program when appropriate. All injections are given by our Nurse Practitioner, Samar Davarpanah, NP-PHC. Injection prices start at $36.95 and are listed in the pricing table on this page.
Most patients begin with the free 15-minute consultation. It is a relaxed conversation about your health concerns and what naturopathic medicine can and cannot do, so you can decide whether it is the right fit before booking a full visit.
Your first full visit, in person in Woodbridge or virtually, is an in-depth review of your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, nutrition, medications, supplements and any relevant lab results. You leave with the first steps of an individualized treatment plan.
The 60-minute follow-up is recommended as your first follow-up after the intake, especially for more complex cases. It covers your progress, any lab or test results and your response to the first recommendations, and your plan is built out or adjusted from there. Existing patients with several or more complex concerns can also book it.
The 45-minute extended follow-up can serve as a first follow-up depending on the complexity of your case, and suits existing patients who need time to review progress, lab results or several concerns at once. The 30-minute regular follow-up is for ongoing care once your plan is in place, and the 15-minute quick or acute follow-up is for existing patients with one specific or acute concern, or a quick review of their plan.
AuraWell Health is at 4600 Hwy 7, Unit 105 in Woodbridge, with free parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Patients come to us from Woodbridge, Vaughan, Maple, Kleinburg, Concord, Thornhill and Richmond Hill, and the initial intake can also be done virtually when coming in is not practical. Acupuncture and injection visits take place in the clinic.
The 15-minute consultation is free. Follow-up visits are $220 for 60 minutes, $160 for 45 minutes, $120 for 30 minutes and $70 for 15 minutes. Initial facial rejuvenation acupuncture is $230, constitutional acupuncture follow-ups are $90 for 30 minutes and $110 for 45 minutes. The naturopathic initial intake is $270, individual fertility optimization is $270 and the couples fertility session is $440. Vitamin injections start at $36.95 for B12 with folic acid.
Many extended health plans include naturopathic care, so check your own plan, and you will receive a receipt to submit with your claim.
