Healthcare Clinic Serving Maple
Maple is about ten minutes from our door. From Major Mackenzie and Keele, you can be at AuraWell Health, on Highway 7 at Pine Valley in Woodbridge, in less time than it takes to find parking downtown. Families from Maple, Vellore Village and Sonoma Heights are welcome.
The services Maple families use most
Growing families lean on us in a particular way. Nurse Practitioner primary care fills the family-doctor gap that hits young households hardest. New patients are welcome to book, and our NPs handle everything from school and camp forms to chronic condition management. Physiotherapy and chiropractic care treat the hockey, soccer and gymnastics injuries that Maple’s sports calendar reliably produces. Registered massage therapy, including prenatal massage with properly supported positioning, rounds out the household staples. Direct billing to your benefit plan may be available, so where your plan allows it you pay only what your plan does not cover.
Physiotherapy in Maple: what your first visit looks like
Your first physiotherapy appointment is a 60-minute assessment ($125). Your physiotherapist takes a full history, tests movement, strength and joint function, explains what is driving your pain, and begins treatment within that first assessment. You leave with a written home exercise plan and a clear idea of how many visits to expect. Follow-up treatments are $100 for 45 minutes, and extended 60-minute rehab sessions are $150. Common reasons Maple patients book include:
- Sports injuries such as ankle sprains, knee pain and shoulder strains
- Back and neck pain from desk work, commuting and lifting children
- Rehabilitation after surgery or a fracture
- Tendon problems such as tennis elbow, Achilles pain and plantar fasciitis, where shockwave therapy ($85 standalone, or $30 added to a treatment) may help
No referral is needed for physiotherapy. If you are claiming through extended health benefits, bring your plan details to your first visit. We also handle WSIB workplace injury and motor vehicle accident (MVA) claims for physiotherapy, so bring your claim number and adjuster details if you have them.
Care parents rarely find this close
Some of what we offer normally means a drive well beyond Vaughan: ADHD assessments by secure video from home, iron infusions for the fatigue that heavy periods and pregnancy can leave behind, and FibroScan liver assessment. Naturopathic care is now available with our naturopathic doctor, coordinated with the medical team down the hall, and psychotherapy is available with our Registered Psychotherapists.
Built around real schedules
School pickup at 3:30 does not negotiate. We offer virtual appointments for visits that do not need a treatment table, and we protect your appointment time, because a calm clinic is not a luxury, it is the whole point. When something does need hands-on care, you are ten minutes away instead of forty.
Helpful guides for Maple families
If you are weighing IV care, each program has its own page with ingredients, screening and price: the Hydration IV drip, the Myers’ cocktail IV, the recovery IV drip and NAD+ IV therapy. Our guides cover low ferritin and IV iron, NAD+ IV therapy, the Myers’ cocktail, IV hydration versus drinking water and IV therapy for athletes.
Iron, energy and everyday health checks
Feeling run down is one of the most common reasons Maple adults book a visit. Our Nurse Practitioners can check ferritin and a complete blood count, look for causes such as heavy periods, diet or absorption problems, and treat low iron with tablets or, when they are not working, an iron infusion in our lounge.
Naturopathic care close to home
Dr. Parya Bahrampour, ND, sees patients for hormones, digestion, energy, stress, skin and fertility support. Care starts with a free 15-minute consultation, and the initial intake can be done in person or by video. Read more on our naturopathy page.
Adult ADHD assessment from home
Maple adults who have long wondered about ADHD can book a comprehensive assessment by secure video with our Nurse Practitioner, with a written report and a treatment plan at the end. See adult ADHD assessment and our guide to ADHD assessment costs in Ontario.
