IV therapy inside a medical clinic

The infusion lounge is the quietest room at AuraWell for a reason. You settle into a recliner, a registered nurse places a small IV, and fluids, vitamins and minerals flow directly into circulation while you read, work or close your eyes. People come in after illness, travel, training or simply too many demanding weeks.

AuraWell Health is an NP-led multidisciplinary clinic led by Samar Davarpanah, NP-PHC. That means every drip sits inside a clinic that also offers primary care, blood work and iron infusions, and our clinicians will tell you plainly when what you need is rest, a blood test or a different service.

Our IV menu

Each formula is chosen with you after your health screen rather than picked from a menu board, and your nurse can adjust the infusion rate for comfort.

Hydration Drip ($165)

Sterile fluid and electrolytes to restore fluid after a stomach bug, a long flight, a hot day or a hard training block. The simplest option on the menu.

Immunity Boost, Myers'-type ($215)

A blend of B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium and calcium, popular through cold and flu season and during demanding weeks.

Performance and Recovery ($275)

A richer formula of fluids, electrolytes and nutrients for active people after endurance events and heavy training.

NAD+ ($235 for 250 mg, $295 for 500 mg)

A coenzyme involved in how cells produce energy, infused slowly over a longer appointment because a fast rate can cause temporary chest tightness, nausea or flushing.

Iron infusion (prescription)

A medical treatment for confirmed iron deficiency, given after Nurse Practitioner assessment and blood work. It is priced and booked separately from wellness drips.

Who IV therapy suits, and who should skip

IV therapy is popular with people recovering from illness or travel, athletes around events and busy professionals going through a draining stretch. It is not suitable for everyone. People with heart failure, kidney disease, certain blood pressure or metabolic conditions, and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding need individual review, and some should not have IV vitamins at all.

If you have ongoing fatigue that does not lift, blood work is often a better first step than a drip, because low iron, thyroid problems and vitamin B12 deficiency are common and treatable, and all of them can be checked in the same clinic.

Your first visit, step by step

1. Screening

You complete a short health questionnaire and a practitioner reviews it with you, including your medications and any conditions that affect which formula is safe. Your vital signs are checked before anything is infused.

2. Your infusion

A registered nurse places a small IV, starts the infusion and stays close by throughout. Most drips take about 30 to 60 minutes; NAD+ takes longer.

3. Before you leave

When the infusion is finished the IV is removed, you rest for a few minutes and you can drive yourself home. Arrive well hydrated and having eaten something light.

Safety standards in our infusion lounge

Every infusion follows the same clinical routine. Ingredients come from licensed pharmaceutical suppliers, each bag is prepared for your visit using sterile technique, and IV lines and needles are single-use. Your nurse checks your vital signs before starting, monitors you throughout and checks in again before you leave. Our team is trained to recognize and respond to reactions, and a practitioner is available in the building if anything unexpected happens.

Clinic IV therapy versus drip bars and mobile services

The infusion itself can look similar across the GTA, but the safeguards differ. A clinic can say no to a drip, order blood work instead or refer you to primary care. A service built only around selling infusions has little reason to do any of those things.

Questions to ask any IV provider

Who reviews my health history, and what are their qualifications? Who places the IV, and are they a regulated health professional? Is each bag prepared for my visit? Who is on site if I react? Will someone tell me if a drip is not right for me? Clear answers to each are a good sign.

What IV therapy can and cannot do

IV fluids rehydrate when you are depleted, and IV vitamins bypass the digestive system so the nutrients reach your bloodstream directly. Many patients tell us they feel refreshed after a session, especially after illness, travel, heat or hard training.

It is just as important to be clear about the limits. Wellness IV therapy is not a treatment for any disease, it does not replace a balanced diet, and research on vitamin drips for energy, immunity or ageing is still limited.

IV vitamins or an iron infusion?

People sometimes book a vitamin drip hoping to fix exhaustion that is really caused by low iron. A wellness drip needs no diagnosis. An iron infusion is a prescription treatment for confirmed iron deficiency, given after blood work shows low ferritin or anemia, and the iron medication itself is often covered by private drug plans.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe, and who administers the IV?

Every patient is screened by a qualified practitioner before their first drip, and every infusion is placed and monitored by a registered nurse with clinical oversight on site.

Which IV drip should I choose?

Hydration suits rehydration after illness, heat or travel; the Immunity Boost is a Myers'-type vitamin and mineral blend; Performance and Recovery suits a heavy training load; NAD+ is a slower, longer infusion. Your practitioner helps you choose after your screen.

How long does a session take?

Most drips take about 30 to 60 minutes. NAD+ is infused more slowly and takes longer. Arrive hydrated and having eaten something light.

How often can I come?

It depends on the formula and your health profile. Your practitioner will recommend a sensible frequency rather than a maximum one.

Do you offer packages?

Yes. The four-session package gives fifteen percent off any drip.

Do I need a referral or blood work before IV therapy?

No referral is needed. Depending on your history and the formula you choose, your practitioner may recommend blood work first.

Do you see patients from Toronto?

Yes. Our lounge is in Woodbridge on Highway 7, with easy access from Highway 400 and Highway 407 and free parking. Patients from Toronto, Vaughan, Richmond Hill and across the GTA are welcome.
