What our Nurse Practitioners can do for you

That means AuraWell can be one place that knows your history and coordinates your care.

Assess and diagnose

New symptoms, infections, skin problems, aches and pains, and the concerns you have been putting off. Your NP takes a full history, examines you and explains what is going on.

Manage ongoing conditions

Blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and thyroid conditions are monitored and adjusted over time, with follow-up visits so nothing drifts.

Prescribe and renew medications

Ontario NPs prescribe most medications and renew existing prescriptions, with a medication review to check everything still makes sense together.

What your first visit looks like

New patient consultation (30 minutes)

Your Nurse Practitioner reviews your medical history, current medications, allergies and family history, then focuses on what brought you in. If blood work or imaging would help, you receive requisitions, and results come back to the clinic so we can review them with you at a follow-up visit.

Comprehensive physical (45 to 60 minutes)

When you want a complete picture, a longer visit covers preventive screening, lifestyle and a full head-to-toe review.

Follow-up visits

Shorter visits to review results, adjust treatment and keep ongoing conditions on track.

Care that connects with the rest of the clinic

Physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, iron infusion, IV therapy and FibroScan liver assessment all sit under the same roof, so your Nurse Practitioner can refer you down the hall rather than across the city.

Fatigue and low iron

Tiredness is investigated with blood work, and if your iron is low, treatment can include an iron infusion in our lounge after assessment.

Injuries and pain

A back or sports injury can move from assessment to physiotherapy in the same clinic, with one record and one team.

Liver health

If blood work or risk factors raise questions about your liver, a FibroScan assessment is available on site.

Serving Woodbridge, Vaughan and nearby neighbourhoods

You will find us at 4600 Hwy 7, Unit 105, near Pine Valley Drive, minutes from Woodbridge, Maple, Kleinburg, Concord and Thornhill, with easy access from Richmond Hill. Parking is free at the door and the clinic is wheelchair accessible. Virtual visits are also available across Ontario.

Frequently asked questions

Who will I see?

AuraWell is led by Samar Davarpanah, NP-PHC, a Nurse Practitioner in primary health care. Our Nurse Practitioners provide primary care in person in Woodbridge and virtually across Ontario.

Can your NPs prescribe medication and order blood work?

Yes. Ontario NPs prescribe most medications, renew existing prescriptions, order laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, and refer to specialists when clinically indicated.

How much does a visit cost?

A new patient consultation is $150, a comprehensive physical is $225 and a follow-up visit is $95. Many extended health plans and Health Spending Accounts reimburse NP visits, and receipts may qualify for the medical expense tax credit.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book a visit directly, without a referral. Contact the clinic or request care online for current appointment availability.

Can a Nurse Practitioner manage ongoing conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure?

Yes. Ontario NPs manage common ongoing conditions within their scope, including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma and thyroid disorders. That means regular reviews, the blood work and imaging that monitoring requires, medication adjustments and a referral to a specialist whenever your care calls for one.
