The Real Benefits of Registered Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is more than relaxation. It supports circulation, recovery, and stress relief, and it is often covered by insurance.
Read articleOur Registered Massage Therapists in Vaughan and Woodbridge provide treatment for a range of musculoskeletal and wellness concerns. Treatment options may include different massage techniques based on your needs. Direct billing to your insurance provider may be available, depending on your individual plan.

There is a difference between a spa hour and clinical massage therapy, and your shoulders know it. Our Registered Massage Therapists work on the tension patterns, overworked muscles and stress held in the body, in warm, quiet, private rooms where the rest of the day is set aside for an hour.
Every treatment starts with a brief assessment and ends with you knowing what your body was holding, and how to hold less of it.
Neck and shoulder tension from desk work, low back pain, tension headaches, sports and training strain, recovery from injury alongside physiotherapy or chiropractic care, pregnancy discomfort and the general tightness that builds up under stress.
Your RMT adjusts pressure and technique to your goals after a short assessment. This is your hour, not a set menu.
Deep tissue work focuses on long-held knots and tight bands of muscle. Therapeutic massage supports injury recovery and chronic tension, and can be timed around your physiotherapy or chiropractic visits so each treatment supports the others.
Relaxation massage is for the weeks when your nervous system needs the volume turned down. Hot stone massage uses gentle warmth to help muscles soften before deeper work.
Prenatal massage uses supportive positioning that stays comfortable at each stage of pregnancy. Tell us how far along you are when you book so the room is prepared for you.
Your Registered Massage Therapist asks about your health history, current concerns and any areas to avoid, and agrees a plan with you before the session begins.
You undress only to your comfort level and stay covered with a sheet throughout, with only the area being treated uncovered. Pressure is adjusted to your preference, and you can ask your therapist to change technique or stop at any time.
Your RMT may suggest stretches, heat or simple changes to posture and activity. Drink some water, move gently and give yourself a restful night after deeper work; mild soreness for a day or two is normal after a therapeutic session.
Sessions are $75 for 30 minutes, $125 for 60 minutes and $170 for 90 minutes. Massage therapy from a Registered Massage Therapist is HST-exempt, so the fee you see is the fee you pay.
Direct billing to your insurer may be available, and a receipt is issued after every visit for your plan or Health Spending Account. RMT receipts can also count toward the medical expense tax credit.
